PALEMBANG|PencanangNews.Co.Id- Bersama pihak kepolisian dan TNI, Dinkes dan pemerintah Kota Palembang dan instansi terkait, Rt 57 Kelurahan 5 ulu kota Palembang kembali menggelar vaksinasi bagi warganya.
Ketua Rt 57 Rusdi S.Ip. M.Si menyampaikan, vaksinasi ini dilakukan guna mendukung program nasional dan pemerintah kota Palembang dalam pencegahan penyebaran Virus covid-19. dan mencegah penularan Virus Omicron Varian terbarukan dari Covid -19.
Seperti diketahui, vaksinasi merupakan upaya pemerintah guna menekan laju penyebaran yang selama hampir tiga tahun ini melanda Indonesia bahkan dunia. “Vaksin salah satu hal penting untuk menjaga diri kita terhindar dari Covid 19 dan hari ini total warga yang divaksin sekitar 300 orang , bagi warga Rt 57 yang melakukan Vaksin yang berusia 65 tahun, maka pihak nya memberikan tanda kasih berupa beras 5kg.” Jelas Rusdi, saat dibincangi pada pelaksanaan program vaksinasi di wilayahnya, Jalan Panca Usaha Rt 57 (5 Ulu) Kota Palembang. Selasa (22/2/2022).
Dalam giat kali ini hadir pula ketua DPRD kota Palembang Zainal Abidin, ia mengapresiasi kehadiran dan antusias warga untuk mendapatkan suntikan Vaksinasi.
Dalam sambutanya, Zainal Abidin mengatakan jika pandemi Covid-19 ini belum berakhir, maka akan sulit untuk membangun peradaban dan bangkitnya ekonomi masyarakat secara keseluruhan, karena semua sektor mendapat dampak dari virus tersebut termasuk sektor ekonomi, kesehatan dan pendidikan.
Lanjut Zainal Abidin, DPRD kota Palembang selama ini telah menghimbau masyarakat melalui instansi terkait untuk mengikuti program vaksinasi yang digulirkan pemerintah.
“Sebagian telah melakukan vaksin di puskesmas terdekat, hari ini dilakukan vaksin bagi warga di Rt 57 dan sekitar Panca Usaha 5 Ulu yang belum dapat melakukan vaksinasi,”ungkapnya.
Zainal Abidin berharap, vaksinasi yang dilaksanakan dapat menurunkan angka penularan kasus Covid-19 di Kota Palembang. Bila angka kasus covid-19 menurun, iapun berharap pemerintah kota palembang senantiasa menghimbau dan melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat kota palembang terkait Covid -19 ini.
Sementara itu, Kapolsek SU I Kompol A. Firdaus SE.SH.MH Palembang mengatakan, Vaksinasi yang dilakukan di Rt 57 ini, dapat meningkatkan jumlah masyarakat yang melakukan vaksinasi Covid-19.
“Mudah-mudahan langkah yang dilakukan Ketua dan warga Rt 57 ini bisa diikuti oleh Rt-Rt dan lembaga kemasyarakatan lainnya,”ujar Kapolsek.
Dikatakan Kapolsek, jika vaksinasi sudah terlaksana secara merata maka diharapkan kasus Covid-19 di SU I dan Kota Palembang secara luas dapat menurun, bahkan bisa dituntaskan keberadaanya. Saat ini wabah Omicron yang merupakan varian baru sedang melanda, sehingga masyarakat diharapkan bisa menjaga kesehatan nya dan beraktifitas maksimal berkat Vaksinasi, dengan tetap menerapkan protokol kesehatan.
Gelaran Vaksinasi di Rt 57 ini dihadiri oleh Sekcam SU I M. Azli Febriansyah, Lurah 5 Ulu Dewi Khodijah ST, Mahasiswa KKN UMP serta Para ketua Rt, TNI dan Polri, tokoh Masyarakat dan tokoh Agama di lingkungan setempat, dan perkumpulan muda mudinya. (saf)
