BANYUASIN|PENCANANGNews.Co.Id- Perayaan Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia yang ke 75 tahun yang jatuh pada 17/08, kemarin menjadi salah satu momentum yang luarbiasa bagi para warga di Desa Saluran, Kecamatan Talang Kelapa, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan.
Desa yang berada jauh dari hiruk pikuk kota ini, termasuk desa yang masih jauh dari kata sejahtera. Butuh waktu sekitar satu jam dari pusat kota Palembang, bagi Tim Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Sumsel menuju ke lokasi desa tersebut. Kondisi jalan tanpa aspal, berlubang dan berlumpur ketika hujan, ditambah aliran listrik yang belum masuk ke Desa ini, menjadi salah satu potret nyata kondisi wilayah di Sumsel yang masih memilukan.
Melihat kondisi tersebut, tim ACT Sumsel berkolaborasi bersama para Bikers dari beberapa komunitas motor di Palembang, mengadakan kegiatan Humanity Riding ke Desa Saluran pada Senin (17/8) lalu, dengan membawa sebanyak 50 Paket Pangan dari Lumbung Sedekah Pangan (LSP), untuk dibagikan kepada warga.
Deni Marlesi, selaku kepala cabang ACT Sumsel mengungkapkan bahwa, “Kemerdekaan yang ke 75 tahun kali ini menjadi salah satu momentum yang ingin kami rayakan bersama masyarakat yang ada di Desa Saluran, sebuah desa yang masih tertinggal dari segi kesejahteraan masyarakatnya, untuk itu di kegiatan Humanity Riding kami juga mengajak rekan Bikers untuk bersama-sama turut merasakan bagaimana perjuangan para warga yang ada disini,” jelas Deni
Kegiatan yang mengusung tema Semangat Kemerdekaan ini dihadiri oleh lebih dari 50 Bikers, yang tergabung dalam Paguyuban Motor Sriwijaya (PMS) yang ada di Sumsel.
Selain membagikan 50 paket pangan, ACT Sumsel dan para Bikers juga turut mengikuti proses upacara pengibaran bendera Merah Putih bersama para murid SD dan masyarakat di desa Saluran. Tepat di depan SD Muhammadiyah 4 (filial) yang menjadi satu-satunya sekolah di desa ini, pengibaran bendera pun berlangsung dengan hikmat.
Tak hanya itu, untuk memeriahkan suasana kemerdekaan, selepas upacara turut hadir dari tim komunitas Sriwijaya Membaca dan Sriwijaya Nasa yang mengadakan beragam lomba bagi para warga dan anak-anak di desa Saluran. (Md)
