PALEMBANG|PencanangNews.Co.Id – Curi Kotak amal Masjid Ar-Rahmat di Jalan Veteran, Kecamatan IT I Palembang,BR (20) diamankan aparat kepolisian Polsek Ilir Timur l Palembang kamis (22/7/2021).
Pelaku sediri ditangkap warga yang memergoki pada saat sedang melakukan aksinya,sebelum diamankan ke Mapolaek Ilir Timur l Palembang.
Petugas keamanan sekitar yakni Aris Muharam (39) mengatakan, tertangkapnya pelaku bermula ketika dia melihat BR berlari membawa kotak amal. “Saya amankan dan bawa ke masjid, melihat kotak amal yang besar sudan dipecahkan,” jelas dia.
Dia mengungkapkan, saat pelaku mengambil kotak amal tidak melihat secara jelas. “Namun karena ada barang bukti itu, jadi saya amankan. Kalau saat polisi menghitung, ada sekitar uang Rp100 ribu isi kotak amal itu,” kata Aris.
Sementara Kapolsek IT I Palembang AKP Ginanjar membenarkan pihaknya telah mengamankan pelaku. “Kami amankan pelaku berinisial BR . Jadi pelaku ini kepergok penjaga masjid mengambil kotak amal yang berisikan uang,” ucap Ginanjar.
Kapolsek menjelaskan, pelaku saat ini masih menjalani pemeriksaan. “Dari pengakuan sementara, pelaku mengaku nekat mengambil kotak amal masjid dikarenakan untuk bermain game online di warnet terdekat,”ungkapnya.(Ndre)
